NEW PRODUCT :)

So, as I mentioned a couple days ago, Blog Followers were going to be the first to know what the five new products are. So all five items are being posted here, while Facebook followers are only going to know one at a time over the span of three or four hours. I'm excited! These products were all things most requested during the poll that was taken at the 1k celebration giveaway.

Cloth Blocks!

Tinkler Toppers!

Neck pillows for baby or toddler! This fits perfectly around my four year old step son. Perfect for long car rides.

Nursery Pillows.

Cloth Rings for Baby!

*Note* Straight pins showing in some of the pictures are there to hold the product in place where they WOULD be sewn. They are pinned in place to allow for easy changes or customization for customers.

FIVE New Products Today..

Today, Crunchy Monkey is releasing five new products throughout the day! I am very excited. They will not be announced at the same time, but rather an hour or so apart.

Four of the products are Gender Neutral Products, and one product is for the boys! (Since the Tutus are for the girls =) )  Again, these products were requested during the 1k celebration! So keep refering ideas, because YOUR idea could be next !

CARING FOR YOUR TUTU:
--When your tutu arrives in your mail, you will need to fluff it out! Hang it up and run your fingers through it to fluff it out.
-- One of the easiest ways would be to hang it in your bathroom during a hot shower to release any creases, folds, or wrinkles from traveling.
--The tutu's can be spot washed by hand with warm water if something spills on it. Hang to dry. Refluff with fingers once it is dried.

You can choose as many colors as you want for your custom Tutu. Access the Tutu Color Photo Album for the available colors.
There are also several styles available. So be sure to clarify what style you like when placing an order.

Embellishments such as ribbons can be added to the Tutu, so please specify when placing your order if that is something you are interested in. Embellishments will cost extra.

COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE: Matching Wands! Will be $5.00
If you are interested in pre-ordering for wands please feel free to let me know. (No samples are done up yet for preview is all)

My step son decided to be a little goofy and model the Tutu for us =P

$20 Amazon Gift Card!

http://zoombucks.com/join.php?ref=clashter11890

I've talked about it before, but I just wanted to throw it out there again! Zoombucks works just like Swagbucks. You search the interent, play games, watch videos, take surveys, and more. By completing those activities you potentially earn virtual dollars (points.) You turn the points in for free stuff like giftcards and more!

Last night I turned in 2000pts for a $20 Amazon Gift card! I am now up to $50 (saved up) in Amazon, not to mention all the Amazon Gift Cards I've already spent on things in the recent past!

I never thought getting money would be so easy =)

Vaccine Makers Admit May Cause SIDS!

http://www.gsksource.com/gskprm/htdocs/documents/INFANRIX.PDF

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/06/20/uk-scraps-pneumonia-vaccines-because-they-dont-work.aspx

Links such as the one above only strengthen my decision to not vaxinate any children I have!
I offer this information to those who are ignorant of the situations....Vaccines have a CHANCE to endanger the child. So does allowing a four year old to cross the street alone. Would you take that risk? Most likely not....so why take the chance with the vaccines?

It is a very debateble conversation. Government and school districts alike make it a very difficult obstacle to overcome. Some hospitals won't even agree to be your chosen hospital for delivery if they know of your crunchy/granola parenting ways!

All the information is available to anyone who wants to do the research. Everyone is permitted to create their own opinion. It is important to know what is best for YOUR family, and leave the judgement right there.

How do YOU provide a natural life for your children and family?
I plan to:
  • Breastfeed
  • Baby Wear
  • Baby LED weaning
  • No Vaccines
  • No formula (breast milk only)
  • No disposable Diapers (only cloth diaper)
  • Co-Sleeping
  • Homemade Baby Food
I'm sure there are other methods out there that I will feel partial to, and as I do more research I plan on going the mile and making life as natural and loving as possible for my children.

How many of you have had issues with the hospitals when requesting that your child NOT leave the delivery room/your sight after birth?

Tomato!

Well, I am still waiting on Tomato Buds, BUT--Look how big the plant is getting? For growing indoors, I'd say they must like where they are at least a tad to be overtaking my windows =P

Day I purchased (several weeks ago)

Current! Look how tall they have gotten.

The red and green pepper plants I was not able to save. My fiance managed to snap the stems off those when driving in the car with them =/ My herbs are doing great and taste great too ;)

What are YOUR favorite things to grow, inside or outside!

My Coupon Binder

I have a never ending need to organize sometimes, so keep in mind my Coupon Binder is always a work in progress. One week I wake up with the thought that each page should have all like items. One week it's single sided, the next double sided pages. =) So here are a few pictures of what it looks like currently.

Coupon Binder closed. 19 Tab dividers, still need about 15 more of the dividers to have the binder completely divided up properly!

All my store coupons go into sleeves at the very front of my binder. Easy access so that I do not have to go digging later on when I have a manufacturer coupon to match up with too.

Some of the pages and categories I have the binder divided into. I find this method easiest for me. Others, I have seen, divide their binders up by dates the inserts/coupons came out. Others completely alphabitize their coupons rather than go by departments.

I also find it very simple for me to double stack my coupons. Meaning, I have coupons back to back so that I can see a different coupon when looking at the front of my page, and when I flip the page there are more on the back of that same page. This saves time, coupon sleeves, and doesn't cause much confusion.

Now that you have seen my Coupon Binder, I will be offering you guys a Coupon Binder Start Up Kit when the blog reaches 100 Fans! The start up kit will include:
  • 15 High Quality 9slot Coupon Sleeves. Coupons put back to back allow for 18 coupons per sleeve.
  • An alphabetized 40 top grocery coupon categories as seen in my binder.
  • Tips and Tricks on couponing.
  • Top websites to print coupons from.
  • Coupon Policy Printouts for three leading shopping centers.
  • Two coupon inserts for you to cut and put into your new Coupon Sleeves!
All you need is a Binder to put your start up kit into!

For those of you who may be interested in purchasing the start up kit, it is priced at $21.00 shipped.

You can also purchase the addon package:
  • 1 Zipper Pouch. Perfect for holding calculator, pens, pencils, mini scissors, and receipts.
  • 5 High Quality 9slot Coupon Sleeves. Back to back coupons makes this equal to 10sleeves!
  • 1 Calculator
  • 1 pair of mini scissors
The addon package is priced at $6.00 shipped.

Comment on this post with your paypal, contact me on Facebook, or email me at littlecrunchymonkey@yahoo.com if you are interested in purchasing.

Refer all your friends so that we can give one of these starter kits away for FREE!

Shopping Trip coming up!

So I am primarily in charge of food shopping in my household. I'm the one who gathers all the coupons, compare ads, search for coupon matchups, follow along with weusecoupons.com, and create a list and any potential dinners we may want.

I would always food shop with Shop Rite and grabbing the few left overs at giant. But after taking on couponing seriously, I have had to step back and start reviewing coupon policies.

Giant: Reserves the right to accept or deny coupons really, and they really only 'double' the first like coupon.
Acme: Will double all the coupons up to .99cents.
Walmart: Will match any ad from any store..allows overage..will even GIVE you cash if you have no other product to put it towards.
Target: Allows STORE and MANUFACTURER coupons on the SAME product.

I'm not sure of Shop Rites policy, I havn't looked it up yet, only because I am so intrigued by Targets policy. Store and manufacturer for the same item can do loads with shopping savings. Not to mention if you purchase certain things, in the correct amounts they will also issue you $5 giftcards as incentive for buying the product.

So, with the coupon policy and the giftcard offers as huge attractions, my fiance and I took a walk around a Target last night. Just to get an idea on how the prices were. I have always been confused how a store like Target or Walmart can be less expensive then a grocery store with a savings card. But after walking up and down the aisles, some of the prices were not bad, not to mention all the coupons I saw on the actual products. I told J, it was like seeing dollar bills stuck to product. LOL

With that being said, I think J and I have decided that we are going to shop at Target this month to see how well we can do. If the coupon policy and the giftcards weren't incentive enough for him, he sure found the motivation when he saw his favorite (baby back ribs) on sale for $1.25 a pound. =)

Coupons!

coupons are like dollar bills, right? when one fully understands how to use coupons, hundreds of dollars can be saved....often times walking out with hundreds of groceries for just pennies.

the first thing to know about couponing is your grocery stores policies, where to find the coupons, and a few other very helpful tips.

a great way to start couponing is with strong organization. how would you guys like a chance to win a coupon starter kit?

i need to hear from you.  i want to see how much participation will occur with a starter kit giveaway/offers or sales.

(sorry for the lack of capital letters. my cell phone combined with blogger doesnt seem to want to let me use capitals)

Going Green

I decided to give a whack at growing my own vegetables! Granted I had alot of odds stacked against me considering I live in an apartment, no ground to plant them in, and the fact that my windows don't always get the best of sunlight....BUT I took the chance and bought all pot friendly seedlings :)

Tomato on both sides.

Oregeno and Basil.

I also have a pot with red and green bell peppers. They were sprouting nicely but we had a mishap. We had all the plants in the car, driving them to the inlaws, when Joe had to slam on the breaks for who knows what reason. >_<  One plant slid and landed directly on top of the pepper pot and snapped both of the stems. So I am showing some TLC and hoping that they will sprout up again?

Ohhh! Little Man LOVES to do what I do, so he asked for his own potted plants. So I stopped by the walmart and bought the cutest Miracle Grow greenhouse plant starter. Came with everything, the dirt, seedlings, container, etc. So here is a pic of his progress :)

The blue is his tomato and the green are the sunflowers!

Nothing like seeing how excited he gets when he notices the growth! We'll be switching these to a larger pot soon enough. :)

Have any of you tried growing your own vegetables? What environment did you have available to you? Was it a success or a flop?

Upload some pictures to facebook to share with the rest of us !
